2024_data.csv - 2024 data downloaded from Clarivate
top_10.py - generates the top 10 publishers based on the number of Web of Science documents and compares the average self-citation rate of these publishers.
wilconson.py - generates the general distribution of self-citation rates (all vs mdpi only) and performs the Wilconson test to compare the two means
analysis.py -  generates the Comparison of SCRs for MDPI journals versus those from the aggregated top 10 publishers (excluding MDPI)
mdpi_q_v4.py - compares journal rankings with and without self-citations for MDPI journals.
