THE ROLE OF "CONTROL DIARY" IN BRONCHIAL ASTHMA AND THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ITS PRACTICAL APPLICATION
Creators
Description
Bronchial asthma is a chronic disease, and its effective control plays a crucial role in improving patients' quality of life and disease progression. This study aims to evaluate the role of the "Control Diary" for patients with bronchial asthma and its effectiveness in practical application. During the research, 30 patients from the Syrdarya region were selected and provided with the Omron PFM 20 Peak Flow Meter, manufactured in the United Kingdom. Over three months, patients were trained in self-monitoring skills, and their bronchial asthma management indicators were analyzed. The study results demonstrated that maintaining a "Control Diary" helped reduce the frequency and severity of asthma attacks, decreased the need for medical consultations, and lowered medication expenses. The significance of the study lies in enhancing the role of nurses in assisting asthma patients in effectively managing their condition.
