MM-Wave Band Permittivity Characterization of C. elegans
Creators
Description
This poster presents research conducted under the NextGEM project, aimed at understanding the interaction between mmWave EMFs—such as those in 5G FR2 bands (26–28 GHz)—and biological systems. It investigates the complex permittivity (dielectric properties) of the nematode C. elegans and its growth medium. Accurate permittivity values are essential for correct numerical dosimetry and safe EMF exposure protocols.
