GEOPOLITICS OF THE EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY

This research work analyzes Turkey's policy towards the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa. As a result of this article, the relations between Turkey and Libya are clearly revealed. In addition, Turkey's foreign policy towards Libya emphasizes the importance of both the sovereignty and maritime rights of Turkey, Libya and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It reveals that Turkey's foreign policy towards Libya in the Eastern Mediterranean is very important both geopolitically and geostrategically. In addition, a detailed analysis of the reasons for Turkey's firm rejection of the claims of Greece and the Greek administration of Southern Cyprus about the exclusive economic zone is carried out.
