Review on Landslide Prediction Analysis in Wayanad

Landslides in Kerala made it experience significant amount of destruction and the study here focuses on prediction analysis of landslides in kerala , and each of the landslide that have some debris flow  and from the analysis for the past 10 years of landslides and its triggers and the observation of similar pattern of landslides has been studied thoroughly , from 2018 and 2024 landslides in Wayanad and its comparison the intensity and how the analysis of slope helps to know how directly it impacts landslides .Using GIS tools and remote sensing techniques referring to digital elevation models and satellite images to analyze the area with high landslide susceptibility and the analysis also speaks about how deforestation and the diversion of land to non forest purpose led to long run environmental damage . By creating a landslide hazard zonation map the research identifies the critical area . By the prediction analysis using the machine learning model we can find the high risk prone regions and can take collective measures to encounter and to provide critical insight into mitigating risks in the most landslide areas.
