****************************************** The GALAKSIENN library ****************************************** v 1.0.0 Cousin Morgane Nov 2018 The GALAKSIENN Library is associated with the G.A.S. semi-analytical model of galaxy formation and evolution. This model is described in three A&A papers: - G.A.S. I : A prescription for turbulence-regulated star formation and its impact on galaxy properties - G.A.S. II : Dust extinction in galaxies, luminosity functions and InfraRed Excess - G.A.S. III: The panchromatic view of galaxies, Stellar/dust continua and main gas emission lines The GALAKSIENN Library stores: - Galaxy Mock Catalogues e.g. GAS_001_MockCat.fits These catalogues contain the complete list of galaxies associated with a given light-cone built from our simulation box. In deep Mocks: - galaxies are evolving between z ~ 10.0 and z ~ 0.1 - a region of 0.5deg x 0.5deg of the sky is covered In shallow Mocks - galaxies are evolving between z ~ 1.0 and z ~ 0.1 - a region of 2.0deg x 2.0deg of the sky is effectivelly covered A galaxy catalog contains: - the galaxy ID, - position (Ra, Dec) - A selected list of galaxy physical properties (e.g. stellar mass, Dark-Mater halo mass, Star formation rate ... ) - A list of observed fluxes in differents filters from FUV to sub-mm (e.g. Galex-FUV, VISTA-g, Spitzer-24, Herschel-250, Nika2-2mm ...) - Galaxy Mock Skies e.g. GAS_001_MockSky_NIKA_2mm.fits In a Mock Sky, galaxies are projected in the 2D observed-plan according to their position, orientation and luminosity distance. Each galaxy is composed of an exponential disk and a speroidal bulge (if any). According to the filter used, the map is convolved by the "official" PSF or a gaussian kernel. - ASCII Tables: Ascii tables save statistical properties predicted by the G.A.S. model and presented in the three associated papers. - Evolution of the stellar mass functions presented in the G.A.S. I paper (Fig. 14) - Evolution of the luminosity functions presented in both G.A.S. II and G.A.S. III papers (e.g. FUV, IR, B-band, ... , Herschel-250) - Evolution of the gas emission line luminosity functions presented in the G.A.S. III paper (e.g. [OII], [OIII], [CII] ... ) - Number counts extracted from deep and shallow MOCKs from FUV bands to the new NIKA2-1mm band
