| [EN] This project examines the concept of justice in urban environements. It considers that addressing the normative issues associated with inequality and social exclusion in urban areas requires a spatial approach to justice that takes into account not only urban structure and distributive conflicts in cities, but also collective agency and the advancement of human capabilities. Housing policies throughout the 20th century successfully reduced Madrid's housing deficit. However, they also perpetuated inequalities and exclusions by focusing on the provision of housing rather than on an equitable distribution of opportunities. This has contributed to Madrid becoming one of the European cities with the greatest socio-spatial segregation. [ES] Este proyecto explora la idea de la justicia en contextos urbanos. Entiende que para abordar los problemas normativos ligados a la desigualdad y la exclusión social en marcos urbanos se necesita una perspectiva espacial sobre la justicia que no sólo tenga en cuenta la estructura urbana y los conflictos distributivos en las ciudades, sino también la agencia colectiva y el desarrollo de las capacidades humanas.
