Climate change and human-nature interactions as drivers of well salinization in coastal agricultural systems
Creators
Description
This poster was presented at AGU24 in Washington D.C. under the Water and Society: Water Resources Management and Policy in a Changing World section. The research focuses on how precipitation and temperature effect irrigation pumping rates in a coastal agricultural system. In most potential future states of the world, irrigation demand will increase for all farms. Additionally, larger farms will have a more variable irrigation demand than smaller farms under climate change.
