Using Generative AI to accelerate Green Building Neighbourhoods assessments using the ISO 37100 series and LLMs.

PROBONO is working on the design and operation of systems that enable the growth of green building neighbourhoods (GBNs). An important framework in which GBNs can be enabled is the framework defined in the ISO 37101 standard which defines 6 Sustainability purposes by 12 cities issues. This provides a consistent framework in which ambitions, strategies, actions and ’sustainability elements’ can be mapped.
We explore how we have used new technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to consolidate a knowledge base for sustainability assessment to demonstrate the feasibility of using LLMs for urban assessments.
