Macro "goal seek" - Determination of Paris-compatible emission paths

VBA macro "goal seek" for determining the free parameter in the Regensburg Model Scenario Types RM 1 - 6 in various Excel tools (see "Supplement to; Software").

With the scenario types RM 1 - 6, emission paths can be determined that adhere to a predefined budget, covering the entire range of plausible possibilities. For the mathematical description see "Supplement to; Technical note".

This upload gives the possibility to save the Excel tools as xlsx files and thus remove all macros. The BAS file can be checked for malicious code using a text editor and then imported into the Excel tools.

Use variant 2 if this is specified in the instructions for the respective tool.
