CEN and CENELEC Focus Group Organ-on-Chip Standardization Roadmap

Roadmap document in which the CEN and CENELEC Focus Group on Organ on Chip (FGOoC) provides an overview of the landscape of standards that are relevant for the domain of OoC. This includes the identification of existing standards or standardisation initiatives, as well as recommendations on the priorities and opportunities for drafting new standards in the coming years.

Based on a multi-stakeholder call for action in 2021, CEN and CENELEC established an FGOoC to (1) systematically plot the landscape of standards for OoC and (2) to define a roadmap on OoC standardisation for the coming years. Starting in March 2022, the goal of the FGOoC was to establish how standards can contribute to designing, developing, fabricating and testing OoC models, in a way to improve their reproducibility, reliability, comparability and validity, finally leading to significant improvements in their development and implementation.
