Description
Este capítulo presenta el proyecto DiverProf, que analiza las actitudes hacia la aculturación y la interculturalidad del profesorado de educación obligatoria en España. Los principales aspectos que aborda son:
- El contexto de creciente diversidad cultural en las aulas españolas y la necesidad de que el profesorado desarrolle competencias interculturales.
- Los objetivos del proyecto: estimar las actitudes, creencias y conocimientos del profesorado sobre diversidad cultural; identificar sus expectativas de aculturación y atribuciones estereotípicas; evaluar su percepción de autoeficacia en contextos diversos; y analizar las competencias interculturales promovidas en su formación.
- La metodología mixta utilizada, combinando una encuesta a 661 profesores en activo y en formación con un análisis de contenido de 226 planes de estudio universitarios.
- Los principales resultados esperados, como mapear las expectativas de aculturación del profesorado y las competencias interculturales promovidas en su formación.
- Los productos de divulgación previstos, incluyendo publicaciones científicas, materiales formativos y recursos online.
Abstract (English)
This chapter presents the DiverProf project, which analyses the attitudes towards acculturation and interculturality of compulsory education teachers in Spain. The main aspects it addresses are:
- The context of increasing cultural diversity in Spanish classrooms and the need for teachers to develop intercultural competencies.
- The project aims to estimate teachers' attitudes, beliefs, and knowledge about cultural diversity, identify their acculturation expectations and stereotypical attributions, evaluate their perception of self-efficacy in diverse contexts, and analyse the intercultural competencies promoted in their training.
- The mixed methodology combined a survey of 661 active and trainee teachers with a content analysis of 226 university curricula.
- The main expected results include mapping teachers' acculturation expectations and the intercultural competencies promoted in their training.
- The planned dissemination products include scientific publications, training materials, and online resources.
The chapter aims to provide an overview of the project, its justification, objectives, methodology, and expected results in analyzing the intercultural attitudes and competences of Spanish teachers.
