Description

25. Hylurgops palliatus (Gyllenhal, 1813)

Material. Armavir: Armavir town, on imported pine logs, 03.08.1952, G. Avagian leg. (6 ex.).

Distribution. British Islands, Central and South Europe, Baltic and Scandinavian countries, Ukraine, Belarus, European Russia, Algeria, Asian Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan, Siberia, Russian Far East, China, Korea, Japan; introduced to Nearctic Region (Knížek 2011b; Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2017, 2023); reported by Stark (1952) and Arnoldi et al. (1955) from Caucasus and by Nikitsky & Izhevsky (2005) also from Transcaucasia without country data. Armenia: reported by Mirzoian (1951) from Dilijan (Tavush Province) and by Iablokoff Kknzorian (1961, 1976) without distribution data.
