Note: Lal (1960: 52) included this species in the Catalogue of Indian Asilidae. This species, however, is endemic to the U.S. Virgin Islands (Oldroyd 1975: 123; Scarbrough & Pérez-Gelabert 2006: 81). We exclude this species from the Indian fauna as a lapsus.
