JWST NIRISS WFSS Backgrounds
Description
JWST NIRISS Background for WFSS and Imaging created from available all public NIRISS data to mitigate residual issues present in.
We note that files are denoted as "skyflats" to maintain compatability with grizli although they represent average astronomical backgrounds in NIRISS WFSS and Imaging data.
All files include the following extensions:
- SCI: Empirical Background Data
- ERR: Error array
- DQ: Data Quality Array (Binary flags)
- DQ_DEF: Table Description of DQ Array.
