Interaction between stakeholders and levels of governance in Green Infrastructure plans: Lessons learnt from two strategic planning processes in Galicia and The Netherlands.

This presentation was held at the XX European Rural Development Network Conference: “Green transformation in the European rural areas” that took place on 11–13 September 2024 in Vilnius (Lithuania). It was organised by the Lithuanian Center for Social Sciences, Institute of Economics and Rural Development (the EKVI), the European Rural Development Network (the ERDN) and Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
Rocío, from the Land Lab (LaboraTe) had the opportunity to present a study analyzing the roles of stakeholders and governance interactions in strategic planning projects in Galicia and the Netherlands, as part of her doctoral thesis. This work helped to identify key elements for developing more successful and effective strategies, particularly emphasizing the importance of stakeholder engagement.
