Description
This article presents antibody characterization data that can be utilized as a guide to select high-performing antibodies for Rab27A, a member of the Rab GTPase family of proteins involved in vesicle trafficking. Fourteen antibodies were evaluated by western blot, immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence experiments using a standardized platform. After evaluating Rab27A expression across multiple cell lines, U87 MG was selected, and siRNA was used to knockdown the RAB27A gene for antibody screening by western blot and immunofluorescence. HAP1 wild-type cells were used for immunoprecipitation.
