  "description": "La Colección Limnológica del Chocó contiene registros biológicos de familias y géneros de insectos acuáticos, asociados a características ecológicas de los ambientes en los que fueron colectados. El registro de los ejemplares comenzó en el año 2001, con el objetivo de tener un referente de la entomofauna acuática presentes en las cuencas de los ríos Atrato, San Juan y Baudó en el departamento del Chocó, caracterizada por una enorme riqueza hídrica. La colección está compuesta por ejemplares pertenecientes a 9 órdenes de insectos acuáticos presentes en ríos, quebradas y ciénagas de las cuencas mencionadas. Los municipios representados en la colección son Acandí, Alto Baudó, Atrato, Bagadó, Bahía Solano, Bojayá, Carmen de Atrato, Carmen del Darién, Cértegui, Condoto, El Cantón de San Pablo, Istmina, Lloró, Medio Atrato, Medio Baudó, Nuquí, Quibdó, Río Quito,  Río Sucio, Tadó, Unguía y Unión Panamericana. Todos los registros fueron georreferenciados.",
