In the FOODITY project, the photovoice methodology is applied to identify and reflect on citizens' perceptions of data privacy and data sovereignty regarding food and nutrition data, and to empower citizens regarding data sharing while keeping control of their personal nutrition and health data.

Through this in-depth engagement process, the information collected is complemented by state-of-the-art knowledge in the domains of food and nutrition and the link with data privacy and data sovereignty.
