OSCARS deliverable 4.3 gives an overview of the planned communication activities and those that have already been implemented in the first half year of OSCARS. It also sets out the plan for further communication, dissemination and exploitation activities. In addition, it provides the guidelines to:

• Communicate the scope, objectives and activities of the project, by defining the main project’s target audiences, key messages and media used according to the specific communication objectives and needs, as well as to the type of output to be achieved.
• Disseminate the key results of OSCARS and of the Open Science projects and services funded through the cascading-grant Open Calls to key stakeholders, by defining the planned actions and the channels and tools to be deployed for the scope;
• Exploit the results of OSCARS and the Open Science projects and services funded via the OSCARS Open Calls, by defining how they are expected to be concretely used even after the project’s end.

Throughout the project, partners will promote its activities, targeting specific key groups and ensuring that the results of OSCARS’ consolidation activities and the outcomes of the Open Science projects and services are effectively communicated and disseminated to the widest number of stakeholders by using the appropriate channels and tools, based on this document.

The communication plan has already been implemented since the start of the project, whereas dissemination and exploitation actions will be implemented as soon as the first results will be available.

Appropriate actions, tools and target groups will be addressed according to the project’s stage of implementation, linking the communication, dissemination and exploitation actions with the tasks in progress.
