Description
The code provided here was used for the statistical analysis of bulk chemical compositions of carbonate sediments in the mid-latitude Indian Ocean. This is an R script for independent component analysis (ICA) on the bulk chemical composition dataset of ODP Hole 762C sediments. The algorithm is modified from an open R package "fastICA" by Marchini et al. (2013).
This code is a supplementary material for "Multi-elemental Statistical Features of Early Paleogene Sediments from the Mid-latitude Eastern Indian Ocean" by Kuwahara et al. The attached csv file is that used for the ICA in the paper and that is corresponding to the R script.
