Run the R Markdown "geo_qc.Rmd" script to reproduce the results from the manuscript. Julia 0.6 is required (https://julialang.org/downloads/). The Julia script "datasetE.jl" has to be in the same folder. Change line 15 of "geo_qc.Rmd" in order to reflect the Julia installation path.

"datasets.txt" contains the list of GEO accessions of all 73 datsets used in the study.

"samples.csv" contains a list of all samples used in the study, with the following information: GEO Accession, sex according to metadata on GEO, supplementary files.
