Description

This is a snapshot of the Basilisk source code taken at 2018-03-19 (i.e. the data of publication). The code is written by Stephane Popinet in the "C" programming language.

Basilisk is a freely available (GPLv3), multi-purpose tool to solve partial differential equations and has it's own website:http://www.basilisk.fr. The code contains solvers for Saint-Venant problems, the Navier-Stokes equations, electrohydrodynamics and more, see http://basilisk.fr/src/README. A selection of examples can be viewed online: http://www.basilisk.fr/src/examples. The website also provides general information including; installation instructions and a tutorial.

Apart from the source code, six case set-up files are included. These 6 files correspond to those used by Van Hooft et al. for their submitted manuscript to the GMD-journal. Titled: "Adaptive Cartesian Meshes for Atmospheric Single-Column Models, a study with Basilisk 18-02-16" .

If there are any issues/questions regarding this submission, please contact Antoon van Hooft via email: j.a.vanhooft@tudelft.nl
