How to use these datasets. (1) datasets-repo.zip This contains a Jupyter notebook that will generate all figures in manuscript and SI, and the source data underlying the respective Python code. For accountability, we have also added the in-house python modules that extracted the positional and fluorescence data from the microvideography raw data. Note that these are generic algorithms and the respective analyses can be reproduced with any number of more polished third party tools. A use case is provided in exampleAnalysis.py (2) code.zip Numerics code for the simulation data in Figure 4. (3) PIVlabSources.zip Figure 3 includes Particle Image Velocimetry analyses for which we used Matlab and the third party PIVlab tool by William Thielicke (http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/27659-pivlab-time-resolved-particle-image-velocimetry-piv-tool, https://pivlab.blogspot.com/) The archive includes aligned and cropped frame sets for each panel, together with a HowTo file documenting the PIVlab GUI settings for anyone interested in reproducing the data files supplied in datasets-repo.zip
