Type Locality: French Guiana, Paracou.

Vernacular Names: Dubost's Neacomys.

Distribution: SE Surinam, French Guiana, and Amapá, Brazil.

Discussion: Morphological comparisons with N. guianae, N. paracou, and N. tenuipes provided by Voss et al. (2001). Known sympatrically with N. guianae and N. paracou.
