  "description": "<p>La colección microbiana o cepario del Laboratorio de Microbiología y Mutagénesis Ambiental (LMMA) de la Escuela de Biología de la Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), tiene su origen la actividad de recolección de muestras de diversos ambientes con fines académicos y de investigación, así como donaciones y compra de cepas de referencia, del Grupo de Investigación de Microbiología y Genética (GIMG).</p>\n<p>En total el recurso contiene 1.257 registros, de estos 722 especímenes (57.4%) cuentan con algún grado de identificación taxonómica. De estos, solo 514 especímenes (~71%), han sido identificados al nivel de especie.</p>",
