Hylak_ID = identifier used in the HydroLakes dataset (https://doi.org/10.1038/ncomms13603)
Area_m2 = area reported by HydroLakes (square meters)
Dmax = maximum depth reported in GLOBathy (https://doi.org/10.1038/s41597-022-01132-9)
Davg = average depth reported in GLOBathy
Bathyshape = bathymetric shape used in calculation of littoral area in G-res (https://www.hydropower.org/publications/the-ghg-reservoir-tool-g-res-technical-documentation)
Littoral_gres3m = littoral area calculated using the equations in G-res, assuming a 3 meter depth threshold
Littoral_gres4m = littoral area calculated using the equations in G-res, assuming a 4 meter depth threshold
Littoral_gres10m = littoral area calculated using the equations in G-res, assuming a 10 meter depth threshold
Littoral_globathy3m = littoral area calculated using 1-meter contours from GLOBathy, assuming a 3 meter depth threshold
Littoral_globathy4m = littoral area calculated using 1-meter contours from GLOBathy, assuming a 4 meter depth threshold
