Description

This poster presents the result of a study on the potential implementation of the essential-use concept within the Stockholm Convention and the REACH Regulation. To do so, decisions on derogations which have been granted in previous restrictions were analyzed to determine whether the reasoning behind the decision could be related to the essential-use conceptr. The main aim of this study was to determine whether changes in chemcial regulations are necessary to implement the essential-use concept.
