Description

LibOCS project Multiplier Event no. 5 on the 17th of April, 2024.

This event gave an unique insights into the implementation of the BESPOC Model across Baltic universities.  BESPOC stands for Broad Engagement in Science, Point of Contact and follows a LERU recommendation for citizen science. It exceeds the framework of participatory science (also known as citizen science) by expanding into public engagement for researchers and their organisations.

BESPOC represents a holistic, organisation-level approach to participatory science, science-society engagement and research impact. Five Baltic universities started to implement BESPOC as part of LibOCS, an Erasmus+ project.

This webinar (series of 2 webinars) unveiled the unique experience, as well as another similar one from Belgium. This event allowed participants to engage in the dialogue, pose questions, and connect with others passionate about participatory science.

LibOCS project is funded from the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships program
Project number: 2021-1-EE01-KA220-HED-000031125
