NetAScore examples

This repository contains exemplary street networks with assessed bikeability and walkability on segment-level, generated using the open source software NetAScore. The files provided are in GeoPackage format, which can be visualized using e.g. QGIS.

Bikeability index values (range 0..1) are contained in columns `index_bike_ft` for forward direction and `index_bike_tf` for backward direction. For walkability, the respective columns are named `index_walk_..`.

Input data | Licenses

Network data from OpenStreetMap was obtained on March 28, 2024.

The data sets provided contain data from OpenStreetMap, which is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Furthermore, elevation and gradient values are derived from the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Austria, provided as OGD by geoland.at / Land Kärnten under CC BY 4.0 (https://www.data.gv.at/katalog/en/dataset/b5de6975-417b-4320-afdb-eb2a9e2a1dbf). Noise attributes are derived from the following dataset provided by the Austrian Umweltbundesamt / BMK: "Lärmzonen Umgebungslärmkartierung 2017 - Strasse Österreich" (https://geometadatensuche.inspire.gv.at/metadatensuche/srv/eng/catalog.search#/metadata/125ec87c-7120-48a7-bd2c-2718cbf878c6).
