Steps: Download all files on your computer. Open file #1, which contains a tutorial. To follow the steps suggested in the tutorial, files #2, #3, #4 and #5 are needed. 

List of files:

1) tutorialMainDocument.docx Main document entitled "Tutorial to standardize a plant-pollinator dataset with OpenRefine, to be shared on the REBIPP platform." Users can follow this step-by-step tutorial with a dataset (subset.csv) that is given as an example. It is highly recommended to get familiar with the standards and the program OpenRefine by testing the given dataset, before transforming real data of the user. 

2) subset.csv Spreadsheet with plant-flower visitor interactions recorded in agroecosystems from the Pampean Region (Argentina) (Deliverable 10.2: Table I: dataset #3). It has a header line with the names of the fields (columns) and 522 records (following lines).

3) sites.csv Spreadsheet with geographical information (coordinates and elevation) of the sites mentioned in subset.csv It has a header line with the names of the fields (columns) and 21 records (following lines).

4) plantValidation.txt Routine for taxonomic validation of plant species included in subset.csv, modified from Ricardo Ortiz & Camila Plata: "Script Taxonomic Validation using GBIF's API" from SiB Colombia scripts for Biodiversity data validation and cleaning in OPEN REFINE
