Description
This comprised Policy Brief belongs to the Deliverable D1.4. Policy brief: Youth Citizen Social Science for social inclusion first version published Dec 2022 as part of the H2020 YouCount project.
Young people in Europe are facing many challenges regarding social inclusion, thus there is a need to develop innovative ways to create more inclusive and youth-friendly societies. The YouCount project presents one of the innovative ways to contribute to youth social inclusion through Citizen Social Science (CSS).
This policy brief is aimed at providing recommendations for EU regarding how citizen science might be used to foster youth social inclusion. This policy brief is based on research conducted under WP1 which seeks to design and instigate a dialogical RRC framework for co-creative Y-CSS to secure democratic processes and to develop, try out and validate an interdisciplinary conceptual and methodological framework for Y-CSS. It also based on early empirical findings from WP2 “Implementation of the Multiple case study”.
This deliverable is public. The Policy brief itself will be made open to society through Zenodo and project’s website by October 2022.
