Educação museal e interculturalidade crítica na Amazônia brasileira: kits e jogos educativos experiência pedagógica do Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi | Museum Education and critical interculturality in the Brazilian Amazon: the pedagogical experience of educational kits and games at the Emílio Goeldi Museum of Pará


This text analyzes the educational materials (kits and games) that are part of the teaching collection of the Clara Galvão Science Library, at the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi (MPEG). These materials are produced annually by the Clube do Pesquisador Mirim (CPM – Junior Researcher Club), coordinated by the Cultural Education and Extension Service (SEEDU), and they address topics related to MPEG’s research fields. The study of these materials also allows us to debate, through convergences between the themes of contemporary museology artifacts, critical interculturality and Amazon socio-biodiversity, the museum as a physical-symbolic space for pedagogical experiences: both museum education and the ecological and ethical-politics dimensions, referenced here in an interpretative dialogue about knowledge and the multiple realities of the people of the region.
