The Algerian Sahara in the works of the French orientalist Henri Duveyrier

Abstract: The researcher tries in this paper to find out the role of one of the European recitals in exploring the Algerian sahara and to identify the specificity of Algerian society, namely, Duvier, this explorer who traveled to Algeria and moved from the south to its north, east and west, so his inhabitants sat and merged with them, and attended Their councils, without their customs and traditions, collecting their heritage, registering their privacy, and monitoring their nature, their mountains, their mountains, their sands, their plants, their rituals, their religious methods, it is a study that stands for the role of this European explorer in monitoring the cultural richness and geographical diversity of the Algerian desert.

الصحراء الجزائرية في أعمال المستشرق الفرنسي هنري دوفرييه 

ملخص الدراسة: إن الباحث يحاول في هذه الورقة الوقوف على دور أحد المستكشفين الأوروبيين في استكشاف الصحراء الجزائرية والوقوف على خصوصية المجتمع الجزائري، وهو دوفرييه هذا المستكشف الذي رحل إلى الجزائر وارتحل من جنوبها نحو شمالها وشرقها وغربها، فجالس سكانهاـ واندمج معهم، فحضر مجالسهم، ودون عاداتهم وتقاليدهم، وجمع تراثهم، وسجل خصوصياتهم، ورصد طبيعتهم جبالها رمالها فجاجها، ونباتاتها، وطقوسها، وطرقها الدينية.
