The deliverable provides a comprehensive overview of preliminary activities and outcomes of Task 2.2 – Citizens’ Awareness &
Acceptance analysis of EU maritime security systems. Focused on continuous SELP landscape assessment and procedures definition, this deliverable emphasizes and analyses aspects and factors linked to citizens' perspectives on EU maritime security systems. It encompasses a detailed report on the I-SEAMORE Survey, investigating citizens' awareness and acceptance, with a specific emphasis on perceptions of border surveillance technologies and their effectiveness. Additionally, the deliverable outlines the development of an engagement strategy rooted in an integrated framework, leveraging the ISIG/CoE "Civil Participation in Decision-Making" toolkit (2017).
