Description

The paper presents the results of the study of anatomical and morphological rearrangements of Pinus sylvestris needles grown in the conditions of the Kedrovsky dump. Specific ecological conditions of the coal dump cause various adaptive changes in the anatomical and morphological characteristics of the P. sylvestris needles - thickening of the epidermis, increase in the area of the resin passages, mesophyll, the central cylinder, as well as elongation of the needles, increase in its height and width, an increase in the surface area of the needles.
