<b>Japan: Hokkaidô:</b>
58 unsexed, Ishikari-shi, Atsuta-ku, Gokibiru, 22. III. 2020, Y. Tasaku (KUM, cYT); 2 males, 1 female, 15 unsexed, ditto, 2. V. 2020, Y. Tasaku (cYT); 1 male, 4 unsexed, Shimamakimura, Taihei, estuary of Taihei-gawa, 12. V. 2020, D. Sumikawa (cYT).</p>

<p>
<b>Diagnosis.</b>
This species can be distinguished from other
<i>Amblopusa</i>
species by the body size (about 2.5 mm) except
<i>A</i>.
<i>pacifica</i>. From
<i>A</i>.
<i>pacifica</i>, it can be distinguished the following characteristics: pronotum slightly convex with anterolateral margin rounded (Fig. 17C); median lobe of aedeagus with apical lobe acute at apex in lateral view (Fig. 18E).</p>

<b>Distribution.</b>
Japan: western Hokkaidô; Canada; USA: Alaska, the Aleutian Islands, California (Fig. 26A). Newly recorded from Japan.</p>
