The presentation gives an overview of the edge AI technology developments. It presents the AI paradigm shift from the cloud approach with high bandwidth, high centralised processing power, and high latency to more edge computing and distributed AI, with lower bandwidth and reduced centralised computing power, more real-time response and improved privacy at the micro-, deep-, and meta-edge. Several challenges and technology trends are introduced and discussed.
