Description
In this work we present the results of a user study that we conducted involving middle school children and adults. Through this study we explore the advantages of offering multi-layered experiences to the visitors of museums and cultural heritage sites. The participants were introduced to the exhibits through a storytelling plot involving a letter from the past, they engaged in a "treasure hunt" for some of the exhibits within the museum and, ultimately, were asked to respond to the letter.
