    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;This paper will look at the value that a safe setting infrastructure can offer to the UK government and public. It will use examples from the Welsh Government’s Programme to Maximise the Use of Existing Data and international organisations to demonstrate the value that can be added by enabling secure linked data to be processed and accessed via infrastructures such as the ADRN. The paper will focus particularly on evidence based policy making and the reassurance that safe settings can offer the British public drawing on research by IPSOS-Mori, the Royal Statistical Society and the Law Commission.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
