    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;A total check list of 74 sarcophagid species known from recent Algerian territory is presented. 10 species among them have been collected in Hardaia city, including 4 species first recorded from Algeria (&lt;em&gt;Liosarcophaga&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;ismailiana&lt;/em&gt;, &lt;em&gt;Macronychia lemariei&lt;/em&gt;,&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Phrosinella nasuta&lt;/em&gt; and &lt;em&gt;Phytosarcophaga&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;destructor&lt;/em&gt;).&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
