ENERGY EFFICIENCY MANAGEMENT PROCESS ON VESSELS

The article considers the process implementation in ship's practice and continuous improvement of mechanism to promote energy efficiency enhancement of ship operations. This will allow to use ship energy resources more efficiently, to reduce consumption of fuel in ship operations, which, in turn, will lead to reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, including CO2 emissions, and in the overall cost of the shipping company's energy resources, thus enhancing its competitiveness.
