    <subfield code="a">&lt;p&gt;The paper presents a system which interconnects the Hospital Information Systems (HIS) implemented on different medical institutions and makes possible the data transfer between hospitals. The system integrates a middleware cloud component which ensures protection against external and especially, internal data leakage attacks. Also, the system implements a “plug&amp;amp;play” principle which makes it very flexible in the process of adding new data sources.&lt;/p&gt;</subfield>
