Description
This is a distinct break away from the VTRST3.5 repository and will be actively developed and maintained by the SuperDARN Data Analysis Working Group (https://superdarn.github.io/dawg/). New features in this release include:
- Fixed multiple compilation bugs and streamlined installation for systems with or without IDL; tested on Debian 8.7, Mint 18.1, OpenSUSE 42.2, Ubuntu 16.04, and macOS 10.12.4 (note there are still issues on macOS)
- Removal of radar operation code introduced in earlier 3.x versions of the RST
- Removal of several directories which were either redundant or created during compilation
- Fixed numerous broken links in the HTML documentation
- Bug fixes to FITACF for calculating velocity errors and processing multi-channel twofsound data
- Introduction of AACGM-v2, MLT-v2, and IGRF-v2 libraries
