The article is devoted to the problem of formation of students' personal and communicative universal educational actions as the basis of socialization and motivation of personality. The substantiation of the relevance of the formation of personal and communicative universal educational actions in children of primary school age is given. The article reveals the concepts of «socialization», «motivation», «universal educational actions», «personal universal educational actions», «communicative universal educational actions», presents the results of an empirical study to identify the level of socialization and motivation of primary school children, provides examples from work experience in primary school.
