Examples are Vehicle-to-X applications, Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) or functionalities in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Currently, there is no comprehensive solution allowing to efficiently program, deploy, and operate such distributed applications. This paper will focus on real-time concerns, in building distributed CPS and IoT systems. Thereby, the focus lies, on the one hand, on mechanisms required inside of the IoT (compute) nodes, and, on the other hand, on communication protocols such as TSN and 5G connecting them. In the authors’ view, the required building blocks for a first end-to-end technology stack are available. However, their integration into a holistic framework is missing.</p>", "license": { "id": "CC-BY-4.0" }, "title": "Building End-to-End IoT Applications with QoS Guarantees", "relations": { "version": [ { "count": 1, "index": 0, "parent": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "7688419" }, "is_last": true, "last_child": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "7688420" } } ] }, "grants": [ { "code": "871669", "links": { "self": "https://zenodo.org/api/grants/10.13039/501100000780::871669" }, "title": "A Model-driven development framework for highly Parallel and EneRgy-Efficient computation supporting multi-criteria optimisation", "acronym": "AMPERE", "program": "H2020", "funder": { "doi": "10.13039/501100000780", "acronyms": [], "name": "European Commission", "links": { "self": "https://zenodo.org/api/funders/10.13039/501100000780" } } } ], "publication_date": "2020-10-09", "creators": [ { "affiliation": "Robert Bosch GmbH", "name": "Hamann, Arne" }, { "affiliation": "Technical University of Dortmund", "name": "Saidi, Selma" }, { "affiliation": "Robert Bosch GmbH", "name": "Ginthoer, David" }, { "affiliation": "Technical University of Dortmund", "name": "Wietfeld, Christian" }, { "affiliation": "Robert Bosch GmbH", "name": "Ziegenbein, Dirk" } ], "access_right": "open", "resource_type": { "subtype": "article", "type": "publication", "title": "Journal article" } } }
