Description

The presentation consists of a text document entitled, "Understanding How Distributions of Spike Frequencies on the Columns of a Simulated V! Network Coordinate with Distributions of Phosphenes on Regions of a Visual Geometry" and of four ppt slideshows. The text document describes how this simulation research follows up work reported in Prosthesis | Free Full-Text | Progress in Developing an Emulation of a Neuromorphic Device That Is Predicted to Enhance Existing Cortical Prosthetic Vision Technology by Engaging Desired Visual Geometries (mdpi.com). Slideshows i and ii provide an extensive collection of isofrequency contour plots of simulated neural network spike frequency data and slideshows iii and iv illustrate differences in spike frequencies produced by simulations based on different visual geometries that a neuromorphic device should mimic.
