Description

This repository contains commented MATLAB files from our study titled "Automated patient-robot assignment for a robotic rehabilitation gym: A simplified simulation model". Two main optimization models were used: disjunctive and time-indexed. The code for each is in a separate .zip file: Disjunctive.zip and Time-indexed.zip.

Additionally, as preliminary follow-up work, two alternative optimization goals were implemented that aim to reduce variance among patients' skill gains. While less polished, the code for this is available in PrelimFollowup_DifferentOptimizationGoals.zip.

This repository is for version 2.1; other versions are also on Zenodo. Version history is as follows:

- Version 1: Original upload. All constraints written in nonlinear format.

- Version 2: Linear constraints rewritten in linear format, which was found to speed up convergence.

- Version 2.1: Fixed minor bug (missing 'break' statement in two files) in the time-indexed model in version 2.
