Description
FIGURES 6–14. Scales of Synura tiksiensis sp. nov. from the type locality. Figures 6–7 (TEM): Rear scales. Figures 8–9 (TEM): Body scales with keel ending with an acute tip, large pores are present; Figures 10–12 (TEM) and Figures 13–14 (SEM): Apical scales. Rounded struts reach the proximal rim of scale, connected by a parallel rib in some places. Apical scales with a keel that ends with an acute or rounded tip. Scale bars: 1 μm.
