Description

This presentation outlines the OpenAIRE Open Science Gateway service available to unlock the potential of country's research outputs. OpenAIRE offer a customized portal where all the research output of a specific country can be searchable, accessible and interlink them to the rest of the world, built based on the OpenAIRE Research graph.

OpenAIRE materializes an open, participatory research graph where products of the research life-cycle, such as scientific literature, research data, projects and software, are semantically linked to each other and carry information about their access rights and the data sources from which they have been collected and where they are hosted.

This presentation aims to highlight the OpenAIRE research graph potential in offering services to national initiatives for aggregating research outputs and offering a catalogue of research products, presenting the example of the CANADA.EXPLORE portal available in canada.explore.openaire.eu. This customized portal is a Canadian subset of the OpenAIRE Research Graph and is a result of the collaboration between the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) and OpenAIRE Advance and OpenAIRE Nexus projects.
